Morgan appeared in Morgan was featured in a Safe Sex for Men and Women informative video about AIDS education and Prevention. A portion of the profits were donated to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She is part of the Entertainment Industry's AIDS Task Force. Morgan was the chief fundraiser for other projects and also gave testimony at a special Congressional panel discussing AIDS awareness. Morgan is a member of the Board of Governors of APLA and Amfar's Board of Directors. Former Surgeon-General C. Everett Koop has requested her to fill in for him in AIDS events and she has hosted an AIDS Awareness Special with anchorman Steve Bell. Ted Koppell and Morgan have made appearances on Nightline at least twice, to discuss AIDS. Morgan was awarded an Emmy nomination for a special episode of Murphy Brown written for her by Diane English. In the spring she co-starred alongside Joan Rivers in ABC television's Your Money or Your Wife. Her summer started by starring in Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show included Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. The second part of the project took Morgan to Luxembourg in which she appeared as Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady in the production of Harmony Gold. Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee were also featured. Morgan was also in the psychological thriller that was exclusively produced by the USA Network garnering one of the most impressive ratings in the network's history.
